We all want things in life, from material possessions to rewarding careers to lasting relationships. If we could achieve all of our goals and desires by simply focusing on them, then everyone would have what they wanted. The fact is, very few people have been able to transform their lifelong dreams and desires into reality. Those that do, often can't explain how they did it.

How do you limit yourself, and why? If you are reading this, then you're already seeking out the answers and ready to learn from them. I remember the day I truly found clarity in my life. All of the sudden, I saw my life laid out in front of me. I could see I had been collecting all the pieces of a puzzle (life events), and once I experienced clarity, I was able to put them together. It was amazing!

Contact me today, and let me show you how to turn your lifelong dreams into reality.

Sincerely,

Al Fuentes, Founder

Mental champ was founded by Al Fuentes in 2007. Al spent 13 years developing the tools and techniques that have made him a leading mental performance coach for athletes, businesses and individuals.

Athletes: We provide athletes with coaching of the mind, which is vital to their overall performance. Typically, athletes will spend 99% of their training on the physical level, even though 80 to 90% of their performance is considered mental. We can help bridge this training gap, enabling athletes to consistently perform at the maximum level possible. (read more)

Individuals: We provide individuals with an outlet to release daily frustrations and lifelong dilemmas. Our tools and techniques help our clients manage the emotional baggage that collects inside the body. Once released, they experience improved health, better attitudes and a higher quality of life. Businesses: We help businesses operate more effectively by coaching their employees to perform at their maximum level. Using a combination of group workshops and one-on-one coaching, we help each employee understand how and why they must work together to achieve a common goal. (read more)

About the Founder: Al Fuentes Walks the Walk

Al's started his coaching journey as a motivational speaker in 1994. He lectured about achieving your dreams to 300 high school kids in a small gymnasium. He quickly embraced his position as role model, and focused new energy on counseling troubled teens in crises situations.

The one-on-one counseling opened doors to additional forms of personal coaching. For the next 10 years, Al reached out to a broader audience, helping individuals from all ages and backgrounds overcome life obstacles. He also acquired a master’s in vibrational energy and law of attraction trainer certification.

While building his coaching practice, Al worked his way up the corporate ladder in the finance industry, excelling in sales, marketing and management positions. His varied professional experience has enhanced his ability to work with many different groups of people. It’s also enabled him to examine and understand a company’s strengths and weaknesses from multiple perspectives.

Performance coaching for athletes was a natural next step, as Al is an accomplished athlete in his own right. While in college, he was a two-time All-American wrestler and a member of the National Championship Wrestling Team. In addition, he was a national qualifier in the pole vault.

"I understand what it takes to succeed in competition and in life,” he says. “Of all the education I have received, my personal life experiences are, to me, my most valued asset. At young age, my own struggles and experiences really forced me to focus on how my thoughts affected my actions and the power of my mind. I soon learned I could accomplish anything I set out to do.”

More recently, Al served as a performance coach for the baseball, wrestling and women’s basketball teams at Arizona State University. He worked with top athletes on the individual and team levels to help them better understand and leverage the power of the mind.

Al is also an active member of the Phoenix community. He lends his support to several charitable organizations, including the Children's First Academy Homeless School, Phoenix Community Cleanups and Umom Family Shelters. In addition, he is a board member of the Multi Cultural Arts Foundation in Phoenix.

Mental Focus

Many people think mental focus is just another term for concentration - but it's actually much more. Mental focus is achieved when you channel all of your energy into accomplishing a single task. It's a total body experience.
